Monroe Actors Stage Company was founded in 1999 by a group of enthusiastic residents who shared a love for the theatre. After humble beginnings, today we are entertaining over 2,000 appreciative patrons per year. We have a 5 show season from September through June with summer camps for children. We were recently recognized by the New York Times for our production of 'The Flood', a musical that was written about the trials of local residents who not only survived a major flood but rebuilt their town on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi river. We are proud to serve the local community with quality theatrical productions and provide the artistic outlet for many of our talented citizens.
